Poetry V.S. Prose

What's the difference between poetry and prose. First, poetry will be written in a way that has lines, which prose do not. Prose are written without lines, in other words, when you come upon a prose it will announce itself in a paragraph format. Prose will also be more straightforward and be written with less imagery and symbolism. However you should also know that prose and poetry have similarities. In this case both poetry and prose have a rhythm like a beat of a song. I don't want to say that poetry always rhyme because they don't always rhyme, same goes for prose. The writer just writes in such a way that makes the writing a pleasure to read. These are the differences between poetry and prose.

  1. Good job making the distinction clear, I'd just suggest ending the first sentence with a question mark. 👍🏼
