The Main Theme of the poem “Monologue for an Onion” by Suji Kwock Kim

In the poem “Monologue for an Onion” by Suji Kwock Kim. The theme for this poem was how someone is indirectly hurting someone else. The author shows this by “I don’t mean to hurt you.” This is telling us the subject of the poem. He doesn't mean to hurt them, it was unintentional. This is shown many time to make the theme heard, It's just in different forms. Throughout the poem the onion is referred to a person. This will all so support the theme by, you need two people at least for interaction but with interaction you can all so get conflict whether it was indirect or not.
